The Bob Marshall Wilderness Area stretches for some 60 miles across the Continental Divide, this roadless wilderness area lies within the Flathead and Lewis and Clark National Forests. Living among the century old Ponderosa and Lodge Pole Pine, are three of the states largest elk herds. Higher up, in the treeless slopes of the high country, lives the states largest herd of bighorn sheep. The 1000 foot vertical cliffs, known as the "Chinese Wall", is home to numerous mountain goats. The meadows explode with pink and yellow monkey flowers, and Indian paintbrush. Within the tumbling mountain streams and clear cool lakes that dot the Bob Marshall Wilderness, you'll find one of the last strongholds of the native black spotted cutthroat trout. Thriving populations of rainbow trout, brook trout, and bull trout help make this vast wilderness area a fisherman's paradise. Numerous pack horse trails, forest service trails, and old Indian trails wind through the range and are perfect for family hikes and trail rides. Through all the years we've been packing and taking guests on adventures, we've put together some first class family friendly summer and fall vacations that take you your friends/family through some of the most scenic country there is.
